Job Description 

Wirepas is looking for a talented Customer Success Engineer to join our customer success team in Grenoble, France. Your primary responsibility is to help our customers develop their products/solutions based on the Wirepas connectivity suite from technical pre-sales to mass production. 

You will be working in a very dynamic and cross-cultural team focused on helping our customers worldwide. You will have the opportunity to assist globally whenever needed. You will work closely with our internal teams, from software development and testing to sales. You will also be improving our customer experience, helping to make our products easier with our internal teams, from software development and testing to sales. You will also improve our customer experience, helping to make our products easier, simpler, and faster to integrate for our customers. 

About you 

You are enthusiastic about embedded software engineering and the Internet of Things – with 2-5 years of experience. You are a self-starter who can manage your time effectively. The Customer Success engineer role requires drive and a sense of accountability. You also have an excellent analytical mind, advanced problem-solving skills, and a commitment to giving the best customer experience. 

 You like working with teams of diverse talent and should see opportunities where other people see challenges. You can build relations with your colleagues, mainly abroad, to help your customers locally. Having the ability to manage multiple projects at once comes easy for you. 

This position requires occasional travel domestically and internationally. 

Responsibilities 

  • Support our customers from pre-sales to mass production.
  • Help our customers define their product architecture to fit with our technology.
  • Provide timely responses to technical requests from our customers.
  • Take ownership to resolve customer issues with best-in-class quality and reactivity.
  • Demonstrate proactive customer support by suggesting optimization opportunities via consultation calls.
  • Drive root cause analysis and service improvements involving bug reporting in close partnership across engineering teams. 
  • Create process or troubleshooting documentation in the Global Support knowledge database. 

Skills we are looking for 

  • Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and 2+ years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Embedded software engineer with the following skills
  • ARM Cortex-M processor knowledge 
  • C, Python 
  • BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence 
  • Documentation skills 
  • Team player mindset with excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Able to work with different functions from Sales to R&D and testing. 
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with colleagues in different time zones. 
  • Excited to present and help external and internal customers. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented. 
  • Can-Do attitude, able to proactively make proposals to improve our customer experience. 

You'll get extra points for

  • Experience in customer success, customer support, or field application engineering.
  • Experience with wireless communication / IoT / mesh networks / embedded devices.
